Bombyx Now Available at Nakú Store
Jewelry and Card Holders available at Nakú Store!I'm so glad my products are finally selling here! This is a really cool store, with lots and lots of colourful items and even small cute toys and plushes. Nakú Store offers a wide collection of jewelry, bags, and apparel beautifully handcrafted by mexican artisans, local and abroad. Here you'll find the perfect gift for friends and family, and of course, for you. You'll probably exit the store with at least 3 items. Prices are as friendly as the staff at the store :)
Nakú Store is part of the famous restaurant El Yogurt Place in Playas de Tijuana, which I also entirely recommend. Fabulous fresh organic food for vegan and unvegan in a cozy, friendly restaurant. Breakfasts are beyond tasty, colourful and healthy. Yeah, all of them in the same dish.
Both are located at Cantera St. #360, next to the bullring Plaza Monumental Tijuana.

MacGyver's Kitchen Wednesdays Presents: Egg in the hole.

It is also known by a large number of alternative names, examples being Rocky Mountain toast, egg-in-a-basket, moon egg, egg-in-the-hole, one-eyed Jack, bird's nest, gas house eggs, the Elephant Egg Bagel, frog in a hole, camp eggs or camper's eggs, bull's eye, egg in bed, eggy-in-a-bready, moon toast, Moon over Miami (WTF??), Popeye, and Cowboy Eggs.
This is my favourite recipe of eggs. It's not only because of its absolutely delicious taste and texture, or because it's probably the easiest way to fry eggiwegs, it's because is one of my most cherished memories of my childhood, this is the first recipe I ever cooked... Successfully. Well, here it is:
Egg in a hole
Ingredients:
1 egg, 1 slice of bread, butter, salt and pepper to taste.
Procedure:
- Cut a medium circular hole in the center of the piece of bread with a cookie cutter or upside down glass.
- Fry bread (slice and removed "hole") with butter until crisp.
- Put more butter in the center of the hole and crack the egg into hole. Fry for a couple of minutes.
- Put some more butter, flip the bread/egg on top of it and fry for 1-2 minutes.
- Serve the egg, add sal and pepper to taste et voilá! Your egg is done! Serve with ham, bacon, hashbrowns, cheese or whatever you like. I recommend to toss some dill on top of the egg for a delicate fresh flavour or even better if you toss some Kräuterlinge (mixture of herbs and spices by Knorr, I don't know the name of it in english).

- Munch, munch aaaand munch.

Sh*t-Loads of Energy!!

UK Prepares to Use Human Poop to Power Homes.
I have to admit that when I first read this headline it sounded to me like some Southpark joke, but no! Finally the Water World kind of future is getting close. Sewage had been used as fuel by the Chinese to generate power and bath water was said to be heated with biogas in Assyria in the 10th century BC. This time poop is being used to obtain completely renewable electricity — as long as we keep eating — I wonder if it works best with vegan poop or regular. Well, at least scientists are not considering how to get water from our own poops... Yet.
